RMK’s winter nature study programmes begin 19.01

As part of the winter promotion, free programmes for general education schools and kindergartens are run from 18 January-26 February 2010. The programmes provide direct experience in the exploring of Estonia’s wintry forest nature, which can be done this year during a real winter amid snow covered forests.

For a list of the programmes being offered as a part of the winter promotion together with their descriptions, look under individual nature centres at:

http://www.rmk.ee/teemad/metsakool/kampaania

In case of questions concerning a specific nature centre or programme, kindly contact the relevant nature centre. When registering, bear in mind that the number of free programmes is limited, with applications satisfied on a first come, first serve basis.

Registration for the programmes began on 11 January, when the newsletter was mailed out to schools. Today, programmes are fully booked at the Aegviidu and Oandu nature centres; programmes are still available at other nature centres. To register for a programme suitable for you, kindly complete the registration sheet included with descriptions on the homepage and send in to the relevant RMK nature centre.

The forest is your friend – get to know it!
